Hi,<br />
I have found many articles and videos for updating the firmware on my HP procurve switches but they all seem to involve telnetting to the switch's IP address first.<br />
<br />
If my switches do not have IP addresses, is there a way I can use telnet via serial cable and upload the firmware via TFTP?<br />
Some of my switches have USB ports so I can update the firmware using the a USB memory stick.<br />
<br />
I need to update the firmware on the switches that do not have IP addresses nor USB ports. Any ideas?

Telnet is an application layer protocol used on the Internet or local area networks to provide a bidirectional interactive text-oriented communication facility using a virtual terminal connection.
