Juniper Screen OS 6.3 error adding VIP Insufficient virtual ports in pool -[(10037) needed, (56) available]
I am attempting to add a VIP on our outside IP and I'm getting this error. What I don't understand is if I look at a list of the VIP's currently configured for this port there are only 7 enabled, 8 total (1 has a status of down). I don't understand what it means that I have insufficient virtual ports. Our Juniper is an SSG140 and online it states that it supports 16 VIPs. When I go through the GUI I am looking at Network - Interfaces - Interface Edit - VIP Services I only see the 8 VIPs configured.
Not the different VIP definitions are causing that, but the amount of forwarded ports. There has been a hard limit of 64 ports altogether, see http://kb.juniper.net/InfoCenter/index?page=content&id=KB11656&actp=search . You are adding a lot of ports - almost 10000. This won't work.

I'm only trying to add one port, port 5092. So I don't understand why it thinks I'm trying to add 10,000 ports. In the web interface under VIP, I tell it New VIP Service, I give it my virtual IP, for the virtual port I use 5092 and for the Map to Service I choose 5092. I tell it what I IP to map to. I don't understand how that is adding 10,000 ports.
