I'm building an application that will hande tons of traffic. &nbsp;I would like to solve the problem of having the packets not go through the unix kernel as the network stack is complicated and slow. &nbsp;In making the path of packets more direct, I'd like to eliminate the OS handling the packets. &nbsp;I've read that you can write your own driver...but thats out of my area. &nbsp;<br />

How complex would it be to integrate Intel DPDK or PF_RING onto a Redhat 6.6 box?<br />

Hi,

How to minimize the path of packets to my application?
