Scheduling ephiphany
I have long wondered why even Android can't seem to get their act together regarding the calendar. The phone is still one of the most effective, and yet at the same time, least effective methods for keeping up with date specific items that need to be scheduled. Many of the solutions I have seen are underbuilt in many ways and over-built in other ways, making it too cumbersome to use. It's a difficult balance, but in the end, it's all about SPEED. Consider this very simple, yet apparently very complex question.
- How quickly, can a person that gets interrupted with an unexpected thought, email, or, text schedule an effective reminder for themselves about it?
That's it. Conceptually, it isn't complicated, but the actual solution apparently is. I am an Android user. It would be nice to have one button to press to type a reminder event, or forward the front-most email or text to my calendar. My calendaring system then needs to take over and, without prompting me for additional info, make sure I get reminded once for that event, via email, via text, and on my calendar.
