HP 1/8 G2 Tape Autoloader driver /connection step to windows 2003 standard
I have an old server with scsi controller and Hp Data protector software ver.6 installed.
Old autoloader is gone, after 10 glory's years
Now i have another tape library hp , HP 1/8 G2 Tape Autoloader
(images are here, i don't know if article is referring my model: http://h20564.www2.hpe.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=mmr_kc-0114331)
Connecting and rebooting i found it under "devices" on windows server, but with an interrogation mark yellow, looking for drivers for
"hp ultrium 2 scsi sequential device"
Where i can find correct driver to complete hw installation?
Really thanks

If you are using Backup Exec, there is a specific driver from Symantec to install. Other backup apps use different drivers.

Data protector should have workable drivers; try loading them. Â They may not be optimized for the LTO generation you have, though -- DP6 is *old*! Â Is there any way you can renew your support and update to a newer version?
I don't even remember her to update the drivers in dp6 for sure, but suggest you go to the 'devices' context and right click the  drive in question.
Also, you could download the LTO drivers from hpe.com and install separately.

i'm using an old version of hp data protector (maybe 6 or 6.5).
It has worked 6 years with another LTO tape library Hp (same scsi connection, same tape number, maybe older generation)
I canniot find LTO Driver on hpe.com, this is my problem

Windows Server 2003 was based on Windows XP and was released in four editions: Web, Standard, Enterprise and Datacenter. It also had derivative versions for clusters, storage and Microsoft’s Small Business Server. Important upgrades included integrating Internet Information Services (IIS), improvements to Active Directory (AD) and Group Policy (GP), and the migration to Automated System Recovery (ASR).
