Installing Nagwin with mssql backend

I know this is not supported, but is there any way to get it done anyway?

That is a terrific idea!
But I wonder; I have seen ndoutils / ndo2db out there that imports data into mysql, how does that system work in comparrison? Does it also read status.dat?

I never understood the purpose of Nagwin in the modern day. It uses Cygwin to emulate a Linux environment.
Why not build a Linux VM and use the regular edition of Nagios?

It is a long story, but I would prefer that if I could.
OK.
If you use the commercial version you could send a ticket, see if it's supported or if they have any plans to support MSSQL as backend.

PRTG, can you hook that up with a distributed Nagios solution? The system in use needs to be able to do that.
I never used it for that, but you can ask support.
In my experience they're quick to answer (24 hours).
