keep leading spaces in Mail Merge Word 2013
I have a tab delimited file. Some of the fields have leading spaces. When I use Mail Merge in Word 2013, the leading spaces are missing.
I tried a comma separated file where each field has quotes. Mail merge could not figure out the delimiter. I tried using quote and then tried comma.

BTW the non-breakable-space is an Ascii hex (A0) character

i'm not sure i can get the non-breakable-space in the original file since it is usually cannot contain non-printable characters except tab, newline, and carriage return.
Is there a way to do it if i cannot embed the non-breakable-space?

Can't you replace the leading spaces by a tab character?
If the inputfile is in xml format, the character is a valid value
(To process xml data in word you have to make a xsd)

appreciate your help. I ended up doing the project a different way other than mail merge.
