Losing Printer Default from Internet
Hi,
We have an Sharp MX-3100 Photocopier, we have enable user Authencation on the photocopier for username and password. Then on the clients machine in printing default we have insert the username and password. We have also tick the retention box thus the user needs go to the photocopier to print their document, this all works well with files in the office. If we download an document say from SharePoint or from the internet, it lose the tick in retention? I'm a stuck what to do with this, we have the latest driver for the photocopier. I have tick the retention boxes from the server which run the photocopier. This is windows server 2012r2

Hi,
I have download an older version of the driver which seems to fix the retention policy. Now when I search on customer folder I get the following Error could retrieve Folder Names. On the Photocopier I created the folders with firstname ^ Surname. Could the space be causing the issues.?

Quite possibly; but, that is really a question for Sharp as it is inside their software.
I would expect the file to contain the author's credentials and for them to be dumped when the username doesn't match.
