Objective: Provide DHCP addressing across mutliple network segments using Windows 2012 and HP network switches
I have 6 sites that are connected via MPLS circuits.
The segments are as follows:
10.10.x.x
10.20.x.x
10.30.x.x
10.40.x.x
10.50.x.x
10.60.x.x
Currently I have a DHCP server at each location providing addresses to clients
I would like to setup one DHCP with failover at one site.
My HP switches currently do not have any VLans (other than the default one)
What is the correct way to go about setting up the VLans and to be able to provide addressing?
Also how do I assign my DHCP servernetwork port to more than 1 VLan (or do I need to ?) in order for requests from other network segments to be filled properly?
Probably making this more complicated than it needs to be just looking for a single server DHCP solution across all my sites.
