When Exporting VM, is it best to be RDP'd onto a server on the local lan of the VM to kick off the export or can I fire up the vsphere client local on my desk and connect via a vpn to kick off the export? Just wonder if it would round trip the data via my machine or does the vshpere client act like a RDP session and just server up screen scraps and mouse clicks?<br />

When Export VMs

VMware, a software company founded in 1998,  was one of the first commercially successful companies to offer x86 virtualization. The storage company EMC purchased VMware in 1994. Dell Technologies acquired EMC in 2016. VMware’s parent company is now Dell Technologies.
