Adobe InDesign CC Keeps Crashing

Adobe InDesign CC is continuing to crash at random times. This can happen when trying to revise text or just scrolling through the file. I was able to check event viewer and found this. The user is running Windows 7 Pro x64. They have a Dell M4800 laptop with 32 GB of RAM. All the latest updates as well as Adobe CC updates have been installed.

Can you check the installed fonts? Chances are one of the fonts used is corrupt.
Or, if it's a free font downloaded from the internet, it could have issues with the Indesign rendering engine.

I've been working with Indesign for 10 years and most of the problems I've encountered are font-related.

Usually the fastest way to solve these is a System Restore to before the problems started.

HTH,
Dan
c000000005 means access violation, i.e a security issue.
please contact adobe for help debugging the issue.
Most of the hits on that error indicate a corrupted project.  Does it work on another PC?
Adobe products are notorious to crash on empty font files, or duplicate font files, or same font name and different versions in system and in project. It dates back to at least AFM.
Do other applications crash as well or just Adobe? Was there any recent hardware change?

Since when does this occur? Check the event log, filter on the event id you've found.

It seems like any computer we give the user, whether it be a brand new computer or a reimaged computer, they run into an issue where Adobe InDesign crashes when they revise text or format pictures. They haven't downloaded any custom font or free font from the internet.

Their Microsoft Word crashes from time to time where the formatting is off, but this seems to be the only other application this is happening to other than InDesign. There seems to be a lot of errors like the one i attached in the event log. This happens when the user creates a new InDesign file or receives it from someone else. I installed the latest InDesign updates and other users who they receive a file from are using the same version of InDesign as well.
Something is fishy in your image that you distribute. Please install absolutely generic Windows and try again.
Adobe's Creative Suite has about 10 gazillion add-ons and plugins that can be installed to give the user custom options or features.  If they were used in an existing file, it could easily blow up on a PC where they had not been installed.  If they are older or incompatible versions, that too will wreak havoc.
CS is also very persnickety about the exact video hardware and the version of its drivers.
Check both of those.
Since when do you have the issue?

Do you have roaming profiles? If so, try a profile reset.

You mention something about other users, do they experience the same issue?
They've had this issue for a couple months. They don't have a roaming profile setup. From what i've been seeing, it looks like its just this user. We had another user note that their InDesign was crashing when working with a really large file. The user who is having all the crashing issues seems to be just formatting text and just scrolling through the page and it crashes. This happens at random times too.
@gheist, I'll try that as well to load the Windows 7 OS on a test machine and build it from there.
Dont talk about loading deploying.
Make sure you install using microsoft's official ISO.
It is ridiculous to blame Adobe product and silently mention other programs crash enumerting fonts.
I am installing using Microsoft's official ISO. Checked back with the user today, Word is not crashing anymore..., but InDesign is still having issues with it crashing at random times. Does InDesign generate a crash dump file to reference?
If its actually crashing, Windows ought to be creating a dump file.
Make a full run of windows memory diagnostics, install all critical updates, and make sure you run latest video card drivers.
Here is more for older indesign:

Basically - corrupt document or half-done indesign update.
