What is the 'R' that appears at the right side of OneNote

We have Windows 10 and use the OneNote apps downloaded from Windows Store (we are not referring to Ms Office OneNote).  We have noticed that some pages has a "R" to the right of the contents written (see pix below).

What is it?

can we delete it?

Note:
Not all notes have this

Remote changes by a user starting with R, maybe?

But how can we know? Can we delete them? (they are annoying to see there)

It's the Author's initials.

Go to the ViewTab on the Ribbon and click Show Authors to toggle it off
Here is a screenshot

In the (Store) App?
Screenshot is from OneNote Online, which is usually about the same as the free version you get.

In OneNote 2010, the Hide Authors command is on the Share Tab on the Ribbon

In OneNote 2016, the Hide Authors command is under the History Tab on the Ribbon
OneNote Online looks like the Desktop App, not the Store App. The Store App is the same for Android, Windows and (probably) iPhone.

The version we have is th one download from MS Store.

We haven't found the option to hide the authors.
OneNote is a free app, is downloading the desktop version out of the question?

Great Information Alice!  I actually just left a comment on the OneNote blog as well letting them know how disappointed I am in the App as opposed to the full program.  I mentioned that you couldn't hide authors so if they respond about updates I'll make sure to post something here.

Yes! Great Info!!  Unfortunately, we awarded and close the question prior Alice post; sorry didn't awarded your entry.
I have no problem with the points being taken from me and given to Alice.  She did answer better than I did.
