hey, i can use a mouse with my usb, so the usb work. and another phone was recognized. so i don't see why my phone doesn't. what am i missing or doing wrong?<br />

Just a guess: could it be that you need to unlock the phone for it to appear in device manager?<br />
Also, is there at least a sound heard when you connect it?

what do you mean by &quot;unlock&quot;? I have enabled to developer options and enabled the usb debug.<br />
when I plug the usb the only sound is from the phone, not my laptop.

i have enabled my galaxy note 4 for developper and checked the USB debugging.<br />
i have connected my phone with it's usb to my laptop and i can't see it in the device manager. not under portable devices and not under other devices.<br />
so i have tried in a friend laptop and there it appears under portable devices. so the usb is working.<br />

so what am i doing wrong?<br />

i have connected my phone with it's usb to my laptop and i can't see it in the device manager. not under portable devices and not under other devices.
so i have tried in a friend laptop and there it appears under portable devices. so the usb is working.

so what am i doing wrong?
