Server 2012 Style Logon in Windows 7 - Is It Possible?

I absolutely love how Server 2012 displays what is actually taking place during logon at the Welcome screen - from loading a printer preference to updating redirect policies. Is there a way to mimic this behavior in Windows 7 Pro? This would be very helpful for our users so they would see information rather than a spinning circle underneath the word "welcome". As they say 'a watched pot never boils' and I feel this would significantly reduce the impression of long logon times in our environment; any good programmer will tell you the purpose of the progress bar is not to actually display progress but to keep the end user from freaking out thinking nothing is happening.  

My own research hasn't yielded anything, but maybe one of the experts here has already seen this...
