I have a client who needs to create a 732 area code (New Jersey) google voice phone number so that he can forward calls from this number to the same area code. <br />

I just found that Google Talk App for Windows was shut down back in 2/27/2015. Their site states you can use &quot;Hangout&quot; but from what I read, most folks don't like it.<br />

What is available that either free of has a small cost - that can accomplish what we are trying to do?

Using the Internet, calls travel as packets of data on shared lines, avoiding the tolls of the PSTN. The challenge in IP telephony is to deliver the voice, fax, or video packets in a dependable flow to the user.
