Remote Access

Hello,

I run a network with 30 Computers and 1 DC, each user needs remote access to their desktops. I do not have a budget for logmein or etc.. I know SBS 2011 or 2012 Essentials allows users to access their desktops. I know SBS2011 Essentials runs a Remote Direct Access role that allows this feature. Is it possible to setup that same config in a environment with a single DC and in a VM environment.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated..

Von..

Why don't you use Remote Desktop...
Just open ports on your router to allow users to connect to their desktop like :
port 3400 --> redirected for port 3389 on PC01
port 3401 --> redirected for port 3389 on PC02
.............
port 3429 --> redirected for port 3389 on PC30
Which OS is running on your DC?

Also you might want to set static IPS on the desktops for Matt's suggestion using RDP with different ports for port forwarding to work correctly.

Yeah we have RDP with Port Forwarding but they like the way SBS 2011 works with the portal.
