Windows Server 2008 Turning on Secure update in a large domain,

Hi,

I just became a Admin in a large Domain, I notice that on the DNS that under Dynamic updates is set to "Nonsecure and secure". What kind of problems could I have if I change it to "Secure only?" Any information on this would be helpful. Thanks
Windows Server 2008

Secure will allow only Domain joined computers to register DNS entries as well as changing IP address (i.e. computer got different IP from DHCP).  Allowing non-secure could result in non-domain devices registering/changing entries which is not a good practice.

Thanks Mohammed, I was wondering what happens to old dns records from non-joined systems (ie. firewalls, router switches, printers) ? All these items  will have to be manually added in the future, right?

This is a good answer, I just looking for a little bit more of what happens to current DNS records.
