Is it still possible to send and receive text messages (SMS) in Outlook 2013/2016 client and Exchange 2016 server?

It was possible for us to send SMS messages directly from our Outlook 2010 client using Exchange 2010.

Now that we have upgraded to Outlook 2013/2016 client and Exchange 2016 server, is this still possible?

Below is some info from Microsoft explaining the old setup.

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Not possible.

SMS support has been removed since Outlook 2013 and there is no workaround unless you subscribe for third-party SMS service to install their plugin / addon to send and receive SMS.

Thanks Jackie, can you tell me some third-party SMS service providers in Australia?
Jackie Man IT ManagerCommented:
Sorry, I am not familiar or affiliated with such service provider yet.

But, from google search, there is a company called "Red Oxygen" which provide such service.

Also, Australia is listed with an asterisk have a “local reply path” (i.e. SMS received will be from a local country code and recipients can text back through a domestic phone number, not an international one) and also offer optional “dedicated numbers” (i.e. a unique number for all your messages).
