Does anyone have any good documentation for reviewing Checkpoint SmartView Tracker Management Logs

Hello EE,

We have a Checkpoint firewall and I am wondering:
1. Can you send email alerts any time a configuration change is made?
2. Is there any good documentation to explain what the applications are in the Check Point SmartView Tracker Management logs?
For example I see SmartUpdate, CPMI Client, System Monitor and am mainly interested when somebody longs in and makes a change, but need some guidance on understanding these and wonder if anyone has one they can highlight for me or point me to some good documentation

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Pls see overview from

Specifically one section covering
Choosing the Appropriate Tracking Option

For each rule you track, specify one of the following tracking options:
......Alert - Logs the event and executes a command, such as display a popup window, send an email alert or an SNMP trap alert, or run a user-defined script as defined in Policy > Global Properties > Log and Alert > Alert Commands ....

As for the log reviewing and commands, this may help to kickstart but do engage support to find more details..
