Need to remotely monitor systems cpu & memory usage
I have about 25 systems (win7, xp, 2008 , 2003) that I need to get the load usages on them. Is there a way to remotely run performance monitor on a remote systems or systems and dump the capture to a single location? I have admin rights on all systems.
I don't have the ability to test it, but have you considered using psexec.exe?
Many of it's features are described here with pros and cons.

cacati.net graphical representation using SNMP polling.
you can use perfmon from remote to query whichever systems and for whatever parameters.
nagios provides for notification, there are zabbix and others...

I was trying perfmon, but it can't connect to any systems. I tried the system name as \\systemname and just systemname. I can rdp to them just fine. Is there a service that needs to be running on the remote system to be able to connect.
You Ned to use the advanced firewall settings to allow rsat through the firewall.
Have a look at the many examp,Es for monitoring systems which can be configure in addition to recording data to also generate notifications......

OK, so it's being block then.
This is one time thing to gather this performance data on these 25 systems. So I'm looking for the easiest way.

Why not setup once and for all. For continuous
What do you gave available and old workstation that is Linux or San be setup.
Install SNMP on the 25 systems pushing SNMP settings via GPO,
Linux +cacti it will poll the systems collecting the data and graphically representing the trends over time.
What is the sample duration that you are looking for? One day/week of peak performances?

This is just a one time thing. Just need to pull the data on these systems and tat's it.
you can set it up once, and then access/retrieve/pull them as often or when needed.
From the current it seems that you have your windows firewall enabled and it is restrictive such that you have to access each system at a time schedule perfmon to collect data over the period. and then come back to collect it.
Once you set it up on one, you can export the configuration, alter/adjust the server name in the export and then import it on the system for which it is collected and .........

Does all the performance monitor for you.
