Windows 7 user strange issue - settings cleared and everything in the recycle bin
Have a strange issue where a user left for a couple months and hadn't logged onto their computer, they come back and login and all their wallpaper, start menu/taskbar shortcuts disappear. Everything they had on their desktop or profile folders like documents, was sitting in the recycle bin.
Any idea what could have triggered that?

But I suspect malware or lack of information from people who use that system.
Annoying that dumb stuff like that triggers hours of my time to "investigate", however.
