Could not complete the operation. One or more parameter values are not valid.

Hello,

Here is the scenario.

•Exchange 2010 SP3 on Windows 2008R2
•Client workstation is Windows 7 Pro with Outlook 2010.

User attempts to change a calendar item, trying to move it to another date and time.
User is unable to save the changes.  Error returned is:
Could not complete the operation.  One or more parameter values are not valid.

This appears to be happening only to recurring items.
Other users are able to make the change with no problem.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

It could be that there is a corrupted appointment or reminder. Try running outlook with the following:

First: outlook.exe /cleanreminders

Second: outlook.exe /cleanfreebusy

Try to modify the calendar item and see if the issue persists after those two commands have been executed.
