Dynamics GP: Microsoft Word "Repair" Error

Hello:

Although one of our GP 2013 R2 (12.00.1920) users was able to click "OK" to the error and proceed with generating Microsoft Word documents out of GP, the error stated "An error occurred and this feature is no longer functioning properly.  Please run Setup and select 'Repair...' to restore this application.

In general, how do you eliminate this error with Word integration?  The steps below indicate that a registry setting can alleviate this.  Should these steps be followed?

Thanks!

John

•Exit Word 2010.
•Start Registry Editor.
•In Windows 7 or Windows Vista, click Start, type regedit in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password, or click Continue.
•In Windows XP, click Start , click Run , type regedit in the Open box, and then click OK .
•Locate and then click to select the following registry subkey:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Word\Options
•After you select the subkey that is specified in step 3, point to New on the Edit menu, and then click DWORD Value.
•Type NoReReg , and then press ENTER.
•Right-click NoReReg , and then click Modify .
•In the Valuedata box, type 1, and then click OK .
•On the File menu, click Exit to close Registry Editor.

Note:  In order to block the Repair in other versions of Microsoft Word, it will be necessary to create this registry key for each version. Replace the version number in the path with the appropriate version.
