SCOM - Active Directory critical event: AD Op Master is inconsistent
Good day,
in SCOM im getting this event on a few DC´s from different domains:
State: BAD
EventID: 18930
The script 'AD Replication Partner Op Master Consistency' failed to create object 'McActiveDir.ActiveDirecto ry'. This is an unexpected error. The error returned was 'ActiveX component can't create object' (0x1AD) The Active Directory Management Pack Objects (OOMADs) components are not installed on the Domain Controller. These components are required for the monitoring scripts to run successfully. See Alert Knowledge for additional details.
All DC´s are Windows Server 2008 R2 and configured identically.
On the other ~100 DC´s i dont receive this error.
When i check the DC´s with DCdiag there are now errors. Replication, DNS and time is all working fine.
For me it looks like a SCOM problem.
Thank you in advance
Best Regards

thank you for your answer. The OomADs.msi is missing on those DC´s.
The monitoring agent is deployed automatically in this enviroment. I think the wrong SCOM management server is used for the DC´s with that error.
thank you
