SD 32 gig disk

I bought a San brand SD 32 gig disk for my new OMNI2 3.0" Touch LCD Digital Viedo camera.  I inserted the the small memory into the bigger disk and then inserted into the camera.  But when I switch on, I get a 'Disk Error'.  As this is the first time with this video camera, I have no clue what to do.  Do I have to format this SD disk, or what else to do with it before beginning to use it.  Thank u.

Good day,

Omni2 3.0" can handle up to SDHC 16GB Class 6. Please see SDHC compatible http://www.amazon.com/Omni-16MP-Digital-Video-Camera/dp/B00AK1EO7O/ref=cm_cr_pr_pl_footer_top?ie=UTF8 .
In other words, you may have to use SDHC 16GB Class 6, not 32GB SD , to be compatible with Video Camera.

ASKER

in response to Eng. Nidal, But the User Manual with the camcorder says under 'Introduction' on page 3, " In addition, a SD compatible memory card up to 32GB needs to be inserted in order to expand the memory of your DVR camera. "  I think u may be referring to a different model of the OMNI2.  My camcorder looks like this : http://modesto.craigslist.org/pho/5419821767.html
that is why I bought a 32 GB SD card.
Hope I am on the right track.
