I am moving to a place where the cable service is fios (verizon). I need a wireless router because I have wireless devices (iPad, iPhone); Verizon want's prices 2 - 3 time what is on Amazon.
I have never worked with Fiber Optic Cable. I am guessing I will need the router, a Fiber Optic Cable splitter and some length of fiber optic cable.
I assume this because I assume the incoming fiber optic cable has to be split to go to the TV & the router.
I also see that Fiber optic "female to female" cable connectors are available. I assume I will need one of those since the splitter appears to have a male end on the "one" side & two female plugs on the "two" side.
