VSAN quastion
HI experts
can we configure 2 VSAN clusters using the same Vcenter ? and the same VDS ?
for example we have 6 physical hosts
VASN- production
esxi1
esxi2
esxi3
VSAN-Test
esxi4
esxi5
esxi6
this is just question nothing to do in real

All hosts and objects must be part of the same cluster!
so if you are using the same VDS for both Clusters, that's not allowed, as you have found!
everything has got to be unique for the Cluster, and VSAN.

i just configured test . i found it is not possible to build 2 different VSAN cluster using the same VDS
otherwise you will get
VMware Virtual SAN configuration fails with the error: Found another host participating in the VSAN service which is not a member of this host's vCenter cluster (2062704)
this because of VSAN traffic use the same VLAN ID
so i created another VDS and i used different VLAN ID for the second VSAN traffic and it worked
