Yes I have them both but for the folder what would the path be? I have created one folder called SomeFolder and my report should go there. I have one data source that is in the root of the Home page for the report server but the default it set the path to was Data Sources which doesn't seem right.

I figured it out. I was using a url with /reports instead of /reportserver.

I can open the report server home page on a remote server from my own Chrome or IE browser after connecting to my vpn but no matter what I try I cannot get it to deploy to the same server url. <br />
It even prompts me for username and id but always ends up saying it can't find the url.

Can't  deploy a SSRS report done in Visual Studio
