Symantec Backup EXEC 12.5 removal failed

We have a server 2008 in which symantec backup 12.5 is installed.
We wanted to remove SB from the machine.(As there was issue with starting SB Services).
So, we tried to uninstall SB from add or remove programs.
Rebooted the server.
Now the issue is symantec backup is still present on the system. (Though it is not available in add or remove anymore)
We have also used Revo Uninstaller Pro to unistall SB from the machine but failed.
So, how to uninstall /force uninstall symantec backup EXEC from the server ?

There may have been a tech doc regarding this issue. http://www.veritas.com/community/forums/cannot-uninstall-symantec-backup-exec-125

If possible, open a case with Veritas.

If you are trying to upgrade, these steps may help. Specifically, the removal steps 1 through 5.

For steps 2 and 3, deleting the registry and program folders, if you have other Symantec/Veritas programs installed, be sure you don't delete those.

Again, if you can, open a case with Veritas.
