SQL 2008 r2 Reporting Services issue where the configurator is unable to find the server

When I start the Reporting Services Configuration Connection and it pops up with the Server Name:     It is showing the server name but when I tell it to find it fails.   I tried "LocalHost" and it gets the same error.  "Unable to connect to Report Server SERVERNAME"     My SQL server is functioning fine.   This is just the first time I have tried to setup the Reporting Services server so that we could start building reports.     Did I forget something during the install process?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

If you have IIS or SharePoint installed, you may have special circumstances and; hopefully, this will help:

I have attached a document that shows what I get when I click on the links.     I was told that there were supposed to be directories under the http://sfpcolo/ReportServer.

What did I miss?

Don't you have to create a report for one to appear?
