Hi,

Windows 2012 Foundation comes with terminal server licenses?
In microsoft datasheet appears this:

Maximum number of Remote Desktop Services (RDS) Gateway connections = 50

What the difference between Terminal Server License and Gateway Connection?

best regards

The RDS Gateway Service isn't the same as Remote Desktop. What it does is gives you the possibility to connect to PC's on the LAN from a remote location securely, without the need to configure a VPN. You would use your Web-Browser to connect to your PC's Remote Desktop for example, but not to the server's remote desktop. That is still limited to it's 2 admin connections.

If you want JUST RDS, go with Multipoint instead.  It still requires CALs but offers additional features to RDS and doesn't require (or strongly recommend) having a DC.
