asked on ORA-0102 error when creating a new DB on a RAC cluster
I have installed a 2 node Oracle RAC cluster on Oracle Linux 7 - 2 nodes using ASM disks
I have installed the Grid Infrastructure and the Database software
I have now gone to dbca and run through the wizard to create a new Database but it is failing (as in the screen print)
I've checked the cluster is fine and permissions are fine and I've rebooted the servers but the same message overtime
I've attached the logs. I'm not an expert. This is the first time I've built an Oracle RAC cluster.

I think you're right about a previous failed attempt. As this was a test system, I deleted the database and recreated it and it was fine.

Thanks you pointed me in the right direction. There was a previously failed attempt so it looks like this was the cause
ORA-00313: open failed for members of log group 1 of thread 1
