There is a powershell module called <b>WSUS Administrator Module</b> you can find it <a href="http://learn-powershell.net/2010/11/14/wsus-administrator-module/" rel="ugc">here</a>. It comes with some options that may be usefull to report on update statuses.<br />

Other option is to try connecting directly to the WSUS database using SQL query tools.<br />

I am not expert on Powershell, but this seems to be the way. It is not easy, but not impossible. Maybe in future I dedicate some efforts in that direction. If you find some success, please notify it.
