Dont select a database from the dropdown just enter the new name of the database.

Exactly, this is what I meant. As Jose Torres said you can put a new name, and then a new database will be created with the contents of your backup.

I think you should specify a new database new, and a new name for the file of this new database.

Issue is caused due to the fact that the database and log files already exist. &nbsp;What you could is click on the file option and rename the files to something else (both MDF and LDF files).
