Well, I was able to see that it's set to the static default IP by downloading the Dell Powervault Modular Disk Storage Manager.<br />
<br />
However, I can't change the IP because the version I downloaded is not compatible.<br />
<br />
Probably trying the latest version would help but finding software on Dell's site is a troubleshooting process in itself...Does anyone happen to have a link to where this could be found?

A lot of people gets put off using the serial connection, but all that you have to do is buy a USB to Serial connection cable, connect to the box using hyperterminal or PuTTy, and that way you can setup anything by using the command line interface. <br />
<br />
It's just a bit uglier to do, but the most compatible way sure is... specially with old equipment.
