TV Stations that offer live streams on the net

Is there a site or sites that list stations around the US or world that offer live streaming content?
I'm talking about free content.
I know there are devices for sale or memberships but I'm not interested in paying.

All of the free streaming channels will have tons of Ads, so make sure not to click on anyone :-) just close them all.

I guess my request was not specific enough.  I do NOT want to pay for the stream.  I do NOT have cable TV so I can't "sign in with my provider ID".

http://www.time4tv.com/2011/09/usa-network.php  set off my malware alarms as soon as I arrived at the home page.

Every link I clicked on http://watchfomny.tv/USA-TV.php  was asking for money for a paid upgrade.

Thanks to all.  I can only hope that more open access will be made available for global TV on the net.  Cable TV providers are now insanely expensive and the content quality has plummeted.
Thankyou brothertruffle880, yes our viewing pleasure is heading towards pay per view on the internet, as for better quality naw adds will still rule. I just switch to ABC as it is the only channel that has no adds at all. The less popular channels like 13 street on cable have some wonderful stuff with little to no adds, I'm also a fortunate soal seeing as I was with Austar for 20 years and when it was bought out by Foxtel they decided to change a lot of the plans and since I had so many channels spread through their new plans they decided to give them to me at no extra costs for being a good customer so now I have some 250 channels 7 packs worth 520 dollars a month for 60 dollars a month so long as I dont change it.
The adds kill it for me on Discovery and Nat Geo but it's such a good bargain now.
All the best
