We have come across an odd issue with our HP printers, servers or paper..
So, intermittently (any type of print/doc) will print a blank second page. We have changed the paper (as this seemed to be the cause) however it affecting a number of different printers, using different drivers..
Printers are on a 2008 server via GPO/Print Mgt.
Ideas?

Can only think of two things there's a separator page, or a banner page enabled, usually that's in the printer properties though, do you have something in the GPO that enables that type of page?

I think its not only word documents but print screens also..
Nothing in GPO
Configterm
Word: Options -> Display -> Show all formatting marks, and see if there's an invisible character
Print Screens can really vary but should not leave a "blank" page unless your image has a large border.
Some printers also have an option to suppress blank pages.
If you print the document on another printer and it does not have the extra page then I would look at printer drivers for the printer that prints the second page. Even the local drivers on the PC. If you print to pdf or in print preview you see an extra page I still think it may be a driver issue.
If the document constantly prints wrong on multiple printers I would take a close look at the document.
1. Print to another printer
2. Print from another PC
3. Print to PDF
