Can you got to your printer's main set-up panel - the one with the LCD panel<br />
and disable a feature known as &quot;Small Install&quot;<br />
<br />
Go to Service Menu and look for Smart Install option (or similar) and disable smart install.<br />
<br />
Then run installer for scanner again.
