Being a beginner with an interest in VBA and visio I would appreciate some help with the following questions: <br />
<br />
1. How do I populate a list box with a list of data (e.g. London, Tokyo, New York) <br />
<br />
2. I would then like users to be able to select one and/or multiple sets of data from the list box, which would be linked to a layer (already created) on my visio diagram, thus allowing the user to turn a number of layers on/off as they wish to see the impact of one or more layers on the diagram. <br />

Populating a list box in visio with data/a list (e.g. London, New York, Tokyo)

Visio is a diagramming and vector graphics application that is part of the Microsoft Office family that allows the user to create diagrams for organizational and planning purposes. The Premium edition has additional templates for more advanced diagrams and layouts, as well as capabilities intended to make it easy for users to connect their diagrams to data sources and to display their data graphically, as well as intelligent rules, validation, subprocess (diagram breakdown). one-step connectivity with Excel data, information rights management (IRM) protection for Visio files, modernized shapes for office layout, detailed shapes for site and floor plans, modern shapes for home plans, and IEEE compliant shapes for electrical diagrams.

Microsoft Visio

Microsoft applications include a variety of software programs, including development and digital authoring programs (Expression and Media Center), educational programs, Internet software, including Essentials, Skype and the Live family, anti-virus, productivity applications and suites like Office, Excel, Word, Outlook, Access and PowerPoint, video games and server applications such as Exchange, SharePoint, IIS and Virtual Server.

Microsoft Applications

Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) enables building user-defined functions (UDFs), automating processes and accessing Windows API and other low-level functionality through dynamic-link libraries (DLLs).
