CDOSYS or something better...
I need to send out emails through Access.  Usually, it's just a one-off, but sometimes we need to send out almost 1000.  In the past I have used CDOSYS, but have come up against two issues in the past:

1) TLS security settings don't seem to be fully catered for (it works fine as SSL and no security)
2) I sometimes need a different FROM address to the reply.  This is so replies and bounce-backs can be handled by a central user.

So my question is this.  Is CDOSYS the right way to go, or is there a better plug-in that may offer us more?

ASKER

Thanks guys.

VBMAPI - may indeed be a useful tool for me.  But, I also want to provide something that is independent of Outlook (not all of my clients use it).
