Receiving duplicate emails in outlook 2013

Hi, just starting yesterday, a few of our users from 3 different locations reported that when they receive an email in their inbox a duplicate is delivered at the same time of the same email. I know sometimes when outlook pst gets above 2g that duplicates can occur but one of the users is new and only has a 750mb pst. Any ideas?

Check OWA, it will tell you for sure if this is an issue with borked Outlook profile. The other usual suspect are mobile devices, if you have any configured, disable them temporary.

Havent used owa before how would i access it? Should i check their webmail accounts to see if there are any duplicates? Will advise them about mobile devices

Hello,

Receiving duplicate emails in Outlook is common issue, but you can get rid from it by simply using the inbuilt method "Inbox Clean Up". Know the implementation of this method in following article-

I addition to this, if your Outlook mailbox still recieves duplicte emails, you can opt for Outlook duplicate items remover (odir) to automatically eliminate all the duplicates in MS Outlook.
