Database should be set to unrestricted growth however you can set the fixed growth in KB\MB instead of %. <br />

What will be your action plan if you receive a database threshold alert?<br />
<br />
I would suggest you can monitor the DISK space threshold where the database files exists and enough disk space should be available for data and log files.
