Anyone know a why to disable drag and drop in a network share. but leave cut copy paste working?

Greetings,
I've got a law firm, and the senior partner is quite computer illiterate, for like the 20th time, he's accidentaly drug a file to a miscellaneous sub-folder.
Does anyone know of way to stop accidental drag and drop? but still allow him to have access. he's an older gentleman and quite sharp about the law, but getting a little absent minded. It's a bit of a hassle to have to go searching for the random and mysterious places he has accidentally moved things, to, but for now, he's the boss and pays the bills, so any solution has to be very polite and respectful.
