Replicate physical Linux server using Veeam

Do you know of a way of replicating a physical linux server to VM ware using Veeam. I have tried it using VMware vcenter converter standalone and it is almost useless.

Thanks

Veeam provides Backup and Replication for virtual machines, they do not really have a Physical to Virtual product.

VMware Converter is a free application, and does it's best.

You may want to consider using a commercial application such as Platespin Migrate by NetIQ, which can convert some Linux Distributions from Physical to Virtual.

Which Linux Server distro, do you have ?

ASKER

We are using centos and debian.
Not listed as supported by Platespin Migrate.
There was no correct answer as it appears that it cannot be done, so what next?????
