No uninstall option for most programs in Programs and Features

I'm trying to clean all the malware off a computer (MalwareBytes found 4900 infected objects!) and I'm running into a problem. When I go into Programs and Features, I see about 100 different programs but only 11 of them have an Uninstall option when I click on them.

The OS is Windows Vista which is bad enough. :)

Is there a way to get the uninstall option back for these various pieces of software (most of which are malware of some sort)?

you can also use Revo for uninstalling programs http://www.revouninstaller.com/
it does a far better job
I will tell you a simplest solution. Upgrade to Windows 10 through the installer link below and before installation starts, chose REMOVE APPS AND SETTINGS options so this way your data will be intact and you will have a fresh copy of genius Windows. Trust me this is what I did and I am now living golden days :)

Oh yeah one more thing, you also don't have to pay for the license if your vista is already activated.

Windows 10 installer
Vista can't be upgraded to Windows 10 directly, and in particular not for free. The direct and free upgrade offer is only available for Windows 7 and 8.
Thanks Rindi. I am extremely sorry for commenting a solution in heist. I should have had reconfirmed.
I agree with Rindi if the computer is so infected with so many viruses/malware and you are not able to remove installed apps because there are no uninstall options, you are much better off to backup your data and reinstall windows. You can spend hours and hours trying to remove the malware and never know if all the malware is removed. As well removing some of the infections may have damaged the operating system so that it may not respond as fast as it did when windows was first installed.  The rule of thumb we use for our IT department is,  if we can not remove the infections within an hour or two hours max, then it is time to backup the computer and rebuild the computer. If the computer had vista installed from the manufacturer the chances are there may be a recovery partition that will restore the computer to the way the computer was when you bought it. But you would have to back up your data first before restoring your computer to the date you bought it. This will also delete any new apps you installed since you first bought the computer.
oh yes - and with heavily infected systems  - a fresh install is in most cases the quickest (and safest) way to a working pc...
...Backup should not be required, as that is something that should be done regularly anyway...

Of course I still make an image of PC's that aren't under my control before doing anything, as many people seem to think backups aren't necessary...
