Any tablets immune to viruses?
Hi
I am so sick of the plague of horrid agents threatening to attack my iPhone and Macbook. I'm concerned that some pages could give me viruses or malicious infiltrators.
I wonder, for the sake of a tablet intended for wi-fi use, mostly video, are there any that are totally immune to problems? (totally)
Thanks

An unjailbroken iPad is pretty close to totally immune. Jailbreak it and you can still stay immune but only by good configuration changes from the default settings.

There is no device that is totally immune to viruses if it can load software.
No. And the popularity of iPhones is increasing the risk. New malware constantly means new IOS updates.
the more users a system has - the more it attracks malware coders and hackers - since they can make bigger disasters then...

What threats are you writing about?
I try to stay uptodate about possible problems.
Among others I read http://www.thesafemac.com/
The Safe Mac was purchased by Malewarebytes late last year.
Sometimes clickbait overwhelms facts.
My Mac users get scareware popups on websites and sometimes install useless utilities, but Malewarebytes for Mac uninstall most everything (formerly AdwareMedic).

Maybe not an overhaul of machine even with hardware security and to still add on another software secure layer as in below SecureMac covrring the scan of its posture and guarding ones privacy too..with its recent makeover

What browser do you use? The first line of defense against attacks is some kind of adblocker. That will mitigate the majority of modern attacks. For your Macbook, the 2nd thing to do is to turn off all Sharing in System Preferences.
Stop using bluetooth and that will reduce your attack surface. Also, don't go on some random WiFi network. Make sure you use HTTPS links wherever you can.
If you don't want to be attacked on your iPhone or iPad, turn off Wifi when you use ad supported apps. That will block the ads that come through Wifi. Don't download junk Apps and you won't have as many problems.
