Improve phone number results to include a name and or other information
There are lots of telemarketing "list sellers" out there that promise fully vetted contacts for you to call and will give you all kinds of details such as what they do for a living, how much money they make, and a whole host of other items. While sometimes that data is useful and worth paying substantial fees to obtain, sometimes, most of the time in fact, it just isn't and can substantially erode any potential profit margin.
It is in this light that I am trying to reverse this process entirely by starting with all possible combinations, and then working my way out as needed.
The following steps are used to obtain numbers for the purpose of telemarketing.
1. Identifiy an area code and a three digit exchange (a prefix) to call (http://www.allareacodes.com/area-code-locator/).
2. Obtain a list of 10,000 #s for your chosen area code and prefix (http://frugalmule.com/phonegen).
3. Obtain relevant do not call list(s) (http://donotcall.gov).
4. Scrub that prefix against the relevant do-not-call list(s) (http://frugalmule.com/phonegen or excel macro).
5. Validate the remaining scrubbed data against a validator http://phone-validator.net.
6. Obtain names for whom the number is registered.
It step #6 in this process that I still don't quite have worked out. Your assistance in helping me figure out how to accomplish step 6 is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for those great suggestions. Are any of these lists ever scrubbed against the do not call?
