QuickBooks Premier 2015 Errors

Good day to all! I am experiencing a sudden but ongoing issues with QuickBooks Premier 2015. When one specific user attempts to open from her workstation a shared company file stored on a server (Server 2012 R2 Standard running QuickBooks Database Server Manager), about 3 seconds after entering the password and clicking open QuickBooks throws the error - QuickBooks has stopped working.., Event viewer shows the following two errors:

An unexpected error has occured in "QuickBooks: Premier Manufacturing and Wholesale Edition 2015":
Got unexpected error 5 in call to NetShareGetInfo for path \\viper\QB-Master\filename.QBW

Client workstation is running Windows 7 64bit, fully patched.
Server is Server 2012 R2 Standard, fully patched, running QBDM and I verified the correct file path.

No other users are experiencing this issue.

I have run the restore.bat file within the QB directory. I have disabled Intuit Sync via msconfig.exe and rebooted, still the issue persists. I have uninstalled QB, rebooted, deleted all relevant directories, reinstalled, still the issue persists. I have searched to my fingers are bleeding for help on this issue and I haven't found anything that can help resolve. I have reached out to Intuit tech support...and they are of no help whatsoever.

Any suggestions, help are greatly appreciated.

as mentioned on intuit support page https://community.intuit.com/questions/749718-got-unexpected-error-5-from-netsharegetinfo

either
He said the "Sync Manager Proxy Starting" error could be cleared by going to HELP, when your Admin is logged in, and goto Manage Data Sync, then to Clear Login and Reset.

Again we don't use Sync Manager at all. Hopefully this fixes the issues (or creates more...) running it against my Company File....

This error is caused because the QuickBooks User (QBDataServiceUser##) does not have administrative rights on the hosting computer.  To correct this, you want to go to the computer where the files reside (hosting computer) and change the QBDataServiceUser## to be a member of the Administrators group.  This should give the windows user on the workstation permission, through the QuickBooks user account, to access the drive where the files reside.

@Davis_McCarn - all users on the workstation experience the same issue. We were definitely opening the QB files the correct way.

Ultimately, I decided not to spend anymore time troubleshooting and just rebuilt the workstation...all is working well now.

Thank you very much for the pointed advice!
Great pointed solutions.
