Microsoft Office Excel Chart Creation Question
I have some very large numbers when creating charts. It is simple to create months and numbers. The issue is the numbers are shrinking rapidly and they end up merging. I was told there was a way to create a chart that cuts out a segment of the data. So I have roughly 30,000, now the numbers are in the 10s. So I can't distinguish the tens. I was told the middle could be cut out to have two different levels showing - one above and one below a line.

Rgonzo,
This is a very simple, easy example. The subject is make believe. The orange and the blue overlap so I can't tell what is going on. I do not want to show two separate charts.
Thanks,

On way to solve it is to use a logarithmic scale
or you could use a Panel Chart

Sorry for the slow response. This is great! How did you do it? The link shows that you can, but on a practical level how do you change to the logarithmic scale?
