exchange 2010 attachment file size limit

HI expert

i restricted the size of sending attached file for all exchange user to 10 MB

but i have power user he want me to exclude his mail box from this restriction

the question how can i do it ?

Hi,

you could set limit for all users to lets say 20Mb, and then create Transport Rule that will reject email with attachment higher then 10Mb, except when sent from that power user.
It would send rejection email to sender, so they would know that there is a limit of 10Mb for attachment.

per user you can do it
Recepient Configuration -> Mailbox -> mailbox properties of the user -> Mail flow settings -> Message size restrictions

if i did this on mailbox level but i dont change anything on global setting  or on send connectors setting

you think this will work ?
I have it working on my EX2010 server at this moment.
No issues.
